About Champions Series Pickleball

Established in 2022 as the National Pickleball League by cofounders Beth Bellamy, Michael Chen, and Rick Witsken, the League debuted with six teams of players age 50+. Since its inception, the League expanded to 12 teams in 2024 and now has 16 teams across three age divisions (40+ Prime, 50+ Champions, and 60+ Masters) as it enters the 2026 season.

A new partnership with MLP and broadcast schedule with Pickleball TV also signal new growth and awareness opportunities for League which is now in its 4th year.
